Heather Safferstone has been designing interiors in the Washington region since 2007.

“My passion for design is centered on combining style, function, and distinction in spaces that reflect the personalities and objectives of my clients. I strive to make the design process more accessible and collaborative - where the attributes of unique design and clients’ aesthetics are visible in the final results.”

Heather designs high-end residential spaces that are sophisticated and classic, while also relishing the creative needs of smaller dwellings and unique rooms. Her work has been noted in the Washington Post, Traditional Home, and Daily Candy.

An Asheville, North Carolina native, she is a Washington, DC resident of over 7 years.

Heather takes on clients as an Associate Designer at Sally Steponkus Interiors.
